Description:
This photo was taken in the Hamlet of Thokarpa, Nepal in 2007. The area is located approximately 6 hours by bus and a 2 hour trek from Kathmandu. It is situated on the side of a mountain range and the people survive on corn,rice and native vegetation. The two girls were my students at the school. This photography captures the spirit of the Nepalese people, their positive attitude, love for nature and their simple life.
