Just World Photo is the online image archive of the Norwegian NGO Future in our hands. We are dedicated to unique reportage, nature and documentary photography and illustrations with focus on social, environmental, development and human rights issues.

The Future in our hands (FIOH) is Norway's largest movement for comprehensive social change. The same inspiration that brought it to life has also produced FIOH groups in Sweden, Great Britain, Sri Lanka and several other countries.

We are committed to the global environment and a globally fair distribution of wealth. We believe the two are inseparably linked, in a way that requires us to work on both subjects in an integrated way. The movement has 23.000 members in Norway.

The photos and illustrations at Just World Photo originate from our over 30 years working for a different world with dedicated photographers. Some of the material have been published in our bi-monthly magazine Folkevett (Common sense in english) or come from Norwatch - our independent news service that conducts critical journalistic investigation on Norwegian businesses in developing countries, investigating whether the companies act in accordance with basic human rights, labour rights, safety and environmental standards.
